MDMB-FUBINACA is called by a few names, including FUB-MDMB, MDMB(N)-Bz-F and MDM FUBINACA. It is, as you might well imagine, a synthetic cannabinoid that is of primary value as a research chemical or diagnostic sample, but it has also gained some popularity as a recreational chemical, so caution should be taken in storing and handling it.

Like other cannabinoids of this type, it is a potent agonist of both the CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors, with a Ki value of 1.14 nM at the CB1 and 0.1228 nM at CB2. Its EC50 values are 0.2668 nM at CB1 and 0.1411 nM at CB2. The difference in values from other indazole cannabinoids is probably down to the presence of the 3-methylvaline amino acid as well as the tert-leucine methyl ester. It is believed to be a close pharmacological analogue of chemicals such as 5F-MDMB and 5F-ADB.

Does MDMB-FUBINACA have any important side-effects?

There is not a great deal of in-vivo work published about this material. It became a popular ‘designer drug’ around 2014, and has been linked to more than 1000 hospitalisations since that date. It is believed this chemical had a fairly high co-morbidity with alcohol and other drugs, which can make it dangerous.

What little is published seems to support the physiological effects that can be inferred from its in-vitro behaviour. Usage reports also support the idea that it is a portent euphoric, and that it causes a kind of vague body-high which probably supports its enduring popularity.

On the negative side, it is said to cause dry-mouth and thirst, and can be associated with red eyes and an itchy sensation of the conjunctiva. It is said to affect the sense of time, and may impare short term memory.

There is little reliable dosage information, but with its questionable safety record, caution would seem to be advisable.

Is MDMB-FUBINACA banned in my country?

To the extent of ChemicalFrog’s knowledge, MDMB-F is banned or controlled in only a few countries. It is a Schedule I Controlled Substance in the United States, and is similarly controlled in Russia, China and Belarus. However, some countries such as the UK have instituted so called blanket bans on whole classes of chemicals. It is possible that a very loosely worded ban could include MDMB-F or a few of ChemicalFrog’s other research chemicals, or be interpreted to do so.

That is why it is vital that you as the buyer understand the legal and regulatory framework in place where you live. ChemicalFrog is not responsible for the loss of any shipment that contravenes the laws of your country, and does not undertake to know the full extent of the laws where you live.

ChemicalFrog sells MDMB-FUBINACA as a research or laboratory chemical ONLY.
